Konica Minolta introduces range of digital radiography solutions at RSNA 2024
Konica Minolta Healthcare Americas has unveiled several digital radiography (DR) solutions at RSNA 2024, focusing on workflow optimisation and resource management. The company’s latest developments include FDA-cleared Bone Suppression Imaging (BSI) for chest X-rays, designed to enhance lung visualisation by suppressing rib and clavicle structures. BSI will be available as a standalone solution compatible with Konica Minolta DR systems and Exa PACS.
The company has expanded its AeroDR portfolio with the introduction of the AeroDR PDR, a 14 x 17-inch wireless flat panel detector. This new addition incorporates technology from existing glass-based and glassless models whilst addressing cost considerations. The detector is specifically engineered for the retrofit market to facilitate technology upgrades in existing facilities.
Analytics advance
A significant update to the company’s analytics platform, AeroRemote Insights 4.0, has been launched. This iteration features enhanced system health and usage data aggregation capabilities, presenting information via customisable dashboards for radiology departments and imaging centres. The platform includes an AI-powered chatbot for expedited data curation and query responses. New features encompass a Superuser profile offering greater customisation control and a global data filtration tool.
The platform maintains HIPAA compliance and adheres to security protocols, containing no personal health information. A new Dealer Dashboard provides system management capabilities and revenue opportunity identification for customer sites utilising AeroRemote Insights.
The BSI technology has received FDA clearance for chest X-ray applications.
