Venue Sprint features

The Venue Sprint combines the established Venue software with wireless probe capability, utilising Vscan Air dual-probes. This configuration is designed to offer maximum portability without compromising image quality or functionality. The system incorporates artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled tools to assist with image acquisition and interpretation.

Enhancements to existing Venue systems

Other Venue family ultrasound systems will now offer optional integration of wireless Vscan Air dual-probes. All Venue systems, including the Sprint, will have access to Caption Guidance, an AI-driven tool providing on-screen guidance for cardiac ultrasound image capture.

Additional clinical tools

The Venue family now includes several optional clinical tools:

  • Bladder Volume Tool for simplified bladder volume calculation
  • Auto Volume Flow for real-time arterial flow volume measurement
  • Venue Coach MSK to assist with musculoskeletal scanning

Software updates

ViewPoint 6 ultrasound reporting software has been expanded to include Venue Sprint. The latest release offers features aligned with American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) guidelines and improved workflow configurations.

Clinical perspective

Dr Andrés Carlos von Wernitz Teleki, an emergency medicine physician at Hospital Universitario de La Princesa in Madrid, commented on the Venue Sprint: “This versatile ultrasound system can be used for high-quality assessments in critical, time-sensitive scenarios where quick access to information is decisive for patient outcomes.”

The Venue family, including Venue Sprint, is currently available in the United States, with global launches planned throughout the year. Caption Guidance on Venue systems is presently only available in the US market.
